Hotel Neps - Nuova Gestione

The room was cleaned daily, and we were happy with the stay overall. We paid for half board; the pizza and salad choices at dinner could have been more varied, but the rest was good. I’d choose Hotel Neps again if I came back to Lido di Jesolo, and would recommend it to others.

The room was shockingly cramped, with barely space to move, and most of the staff seemed indifferent. Some also seemed to judge guests by nationality, which felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. The dinner rule was absurd: everyone in a group had to be there before anyone could be served, even if someone was sick. There’s no 24-hour reception, which is a basic convenience a modern hotel should have. The cleaning lady was the only one who stood out for excellent service. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The half-board food was disgusting, and the staff treated us as if we were pigs. The cleaning lady was the only person with a good personality. I was lucky to get one of the few renovated rooms, but even that was incredibly small; the others looked horrible, like they were from the 1950s. Staff also tried to charge us for beds they said we had broken. When we went up and saw they weren’t broken, they lowered the bill. They also claimed we’d left “handmade furniture” out in the rain, meaning ordinary plastic chairs.

We’ve stayed here several times, in both summer and winter, because it’s our favorite place. The rooms are cosy and clean, the food is delicious, and breakfast is good. Staff across reception, housekeeping, and the kitchen are exceptionally friendly. The location is hard to beat, close to the beach and places to visit. We’ve tried half board and à la carte, and found everything tasty with fair prices. Absolutely recommend it.
