Hotel Olanda

The room was very clean, and we found it good value for the price. Breakfast was included and tasty, though the selection stayed limited and didn’t change from day to day. Smoking is allowed in the breakfast area, but only out on the porch. The beach belongs to the hotel, with two loungers and an umbrella per room included, about a five-minute walk away. The staff were kind, helpful, and around when we needed them; they even picked us up at the central station. I’d definitely come back.

We didn’t lack for anything here. Breakfast had a steady supply of sweet and savory choices, fruit, coffee, and juice, and the private beach with loungers and an umbrella was very close. Our room was spacious, cleaned every day, and the bathroom was spotless. They also let us bring our dog, and there’s private parking. The owner was wonderful and always ready to help. Great people and a lovely place for a vacation. Hope we can return. Best wishes.

Right on the main strip, so shops, restaurants, and the beach are all close by, yet the hotel itself stays quiet and feels geared toward families. It’s an unpretentious family-run place with clean, lovely rooms and a nice terrace for breakfast or afternoon tea. Bikes, parking, and Wi-Fi are free. The multilingual staff are attentive and helpful without hovering. Highly recommended.

The location makes it easy to enjoy the area: the main boulevard is right there, and after 8 PM it becomes pedestrian-only. The beach is very close, with a spot included in the room price. Parking is available in the hotel’s own backyard, or they offer a space in a public car park a couple of thousand meters away. Rooms are simple, pleasant, and clean, with air conditioning, a fridge, Wi-Fi, and TV. Breakfast is buffet-style, fairly standard but with a good range for different tastes. Friendly, helpful staff and good service. Works well for families, with or without kids or pets, and it’s been a good-value, good experience year after year.
