Friendly staff and a family atmosphere make this small hotel a pleasant place in a very good city location. The rooms could use one thing: a refrigerator to chill Peroni and wine :-) Parking in the large lot near the hotel and beach sunbeds and an umbrella are included in the price.

The owner was so kind and made me feel at home. I spent my days unwinding at the beach, less than five minutes away, and had the best time. The hotel is right in the city center, and the bus station nearby made getting to Venice easy too. I’ll definitely come back soon. Highly recommended!

The biggest drawback for me was the missing in-room fridge. The English and German versions of the hotel website said one was available, and that affected my choice. Still, there’s a lot to like here. The hotel is conveniently placed: the beach and a supermarket are five minutes away, and the bus stop is seven minutes away. Buses go to Punta Sabotini, where you can catch a boat to Venice. You can buy tickets at the stop’s machine. The five-storey building has been renovated so well you wouldn’t guess it dates from the 1950s. Rooms are on floors 1-3, there’s an elevator, and guests can use bicycles. My room was cleaned daily, with fresh sheets and plenty of towels that were changed each day. The bed was clean and standard sized. I’m 1.95, so my feet just about fit. There was a TV, though I couldn’t find any channels in languages other than Italian, apart from music channels. The thick roller blinds kept the room dark after sunrise. The bathroom had a shower, bidet, toilet and sink, and was a decent size. The light over the mirror didn’t work. Soap and shampoo were replenished, as was the toilet paper. There was plenty of wardrobe space, and the air conditioner kept the temperature comfortable. Breakfast at the restaurant was excellent and the same each day, which suited me. The coffee machine makes good coffee. You can also get coffee and other drinks at the hotel bar during the day and take them out to the terrace. The room rate included an umbrella and two loungers at the beach, with an assigned spot, as is common at most hotels in town. The beach is wide and long, with pale yellow sand and a gently sloping entrance to the water that’s handy for families with young children. There’s a beach bar for snacks and drinks, plus showers and changing cabins. The staff were friendly and smiling, with basic English and German. One issue: they wouldn’t let us check out at noon. Checkout was no later than 10 am.

The rooms were tiny, and even the lamp didn’t work. The location was nice, and the service was good.
