B&B Valentino

The roads are the one drawback, though you soon get used to them when the sea keeps appearing on the horizon at every turn. The apartment itself is clean, charming, and spacious, with en-suite bathrooms in every room. Its terraces look out over the sea and the Aeolian Islands, and the whole place is surrounded by nature and quiet. Francesco was so helpful, with suggestions for places to explore, beaches, trips, and good food.

Francesco and his wife are lovely hosts, always ready to help with tourist information. Their B&B sits among the green hills of Capo Vaticano, with peaceful nature all around, tasteful furnishings, and magnificent terraces with priceless views. The family atmosphere and relaxing feel are just right for couples, families with children, or anyone wanting a restful break. We're glad to give credit to people who work hard to make guests happy, and hope we can return to your beautiful land one day.

You can have dinner or an aperitif at the terrace tables, looking out to sea, and there's a large shared kitchen equipped with every comfort. The rooms are spotless, air-conditioned, and have breathtaking views. Francesco and Jessica are kind and very helpful, recommending beautiful beaches and local spots for typical Calabrian food. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh cakes, croissants, and lots of seasonal fruit. A welcoming, clean B&B that I'd recommend to everyone.

We stayed for about ten days and had a wonderful time. The terrace view is spectacular, with Stromboli and Sicily in the distance, and you never get tired of looking at it. The place is very quiet, with impeccable cleaning and delicious breakfast, including fresh cakes each morning. Gessica and Francesco were very helpful. At first we felt discouraged by the route the navigator took for the last stretch, and for getting to Santa Maria beach. It was narrow but two-way, steep, full of potholes, and dark. Then Gessica explained to always come from above, via the provincial road, and to use hotel Royal as the reference for reaching the B&B, turning right just after it. After that, everything went smoothly, and all the beaches are 10-20 minutes away.
