Those little touches made the stay: local soap and food, soft towels, and a room that was clean and comfortable. We felt at home as soon as the hosts greeted us with apple cider, and we loved spending time in the garden. La Mucca Pelosa is beautifully decorated, and breakfast was incredible, especially the scrambled eggs. We'd absolutely come back if we're in the area again.

Breakfast was one of those lovely, quiet moments that made the week feel special. The owner was kind, attentive, and helpful without ever intruding, and the house was so peaceful we came away deeply relaxed. The mountain setting has wonderful views and a real sense of calm. It's also handy for getting to the ski areas, Aosta, and Courmayeur by car. The house has that warm, authentic high-altitude feel, with modern comforts too. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, and the furnishings and kitchen are beautiful as well as practical. La Mucca Pelosa is a place we’ll remember as an experience, not just somewhere to sleep.

Remo made us feel at home from the moment he welcomed us, and prepared a carefully done breakfast. We spent a weekend in early March. The rooms were lovely, the living room comfortable, and the bed was a good size with a soft topper. Aosta center is about a 15-minute drive away, and Cogne takes just under 40 minutes. Fabio and Barbara highly recommend it.
