The staff were nice, and the location is convenient for the city centre. Breakfast was decent, with the usual pastries, fruit, and coffee. Our shower was really nice, though I heard some other guests found theirs a bit small. There were a few cobwebs in the corners. The ground-floor rooms are meant to stay cooler than the upstairs ones, but ours still got toasty. The windows don’t open there, apart from the door, and there’s no A/C. A fan would help, though A/C would be better. For an Italian summer, I’d choose a room with A/C. When we checked out at 8:30 am, nobody was at the desk, so we left the keys there.

The breakfast the next day was amazing, and check-in was the quickest I’ve ever had. The man and woman running this adorable hotel in the heart of L'Aquila were wonderful. I only wish I could’ve stayed longer.

They’re always looking after me at this lovely B&B. It’s about five US blocks from L'Aquila’s city center, and they speak English here!
