L’Aquila doesn't get a lot of tourist traffic, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but this made for a great overnight stay. The staff were really nice, and the rooms were clean and newly renovated. It's a quick walk into downtown. Breakfast was mostly cold items, but it was good enough. I like my room really cold when I sleep, so I left the window open. The heating came on automatically anyway and blew hot air into the room. Even with that, I'd stay again. Nice work, Federico Hotel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast was quite good, just a normal breakfast. The room was perfectly fine for the price, though not luxurious. The bathroom was modern, clean, and very nice, with strong shower pressure.

What made the stay for us was how kind and helpful everyone was. The breakfast waiters looked after us and handled our requests warmly. At reception, the women even let my kids stay in the room past checkout. We'd left a phone behind in the taxi they'd arranged. I got in touch later to see if they could find the driver, and with their help he came back and we got the phone in time. The rooms were spacious and comfortable too, with a shower that had a massage setting. That kind of staff matters more to me than fancy options. I'd definitely recommend the hotel.

A convenient place to stay while seeing the city and nearby sights. The rooms were quiet and clean, parking was handy, and breakfast was solid.

Having parking here is a big plus, since it's hard to find in L'aquila, especially near the centre. The hotel's close to everything, and the staff are pleasant and polite.
