What made our stay at Bricco dei Cogni stand out most was how warmly Claudia and her husband looked after us. Claudia booked a restaurant for us every evening and gave us fantastic suggestions, including for a truffle hunt that became a trip highlight. Her husband told us about local markets, other places to visit, and the area's history. There was always a little something waiting for us in the dining room when we got back at night, and breakfast was delicious. Their hospitality made our visit to Piedmont special. The setting is beautiful, with lots of places to walk and take photos. From some bedroom windows, depending on which side of the house you're on, you can see the Matterhorn. We loved sitting on the wraparound porch with wine, taking in the vineyards, gardens, and views. There are several small towns within walking distance, with great restaurants. I stayed at four places on a recent trip to Italy, and this was my favorite.

Claudia made us feel welcome right away with a glass of her white wine, and she also gave us a bottle of her excellent red. Thanks for everything, Claudia! The villa sits in the heart of the region's points of interest, with vineyard-covered hills visible from our room. It's a peaceful agriturismo in a traditional Italian country house style. We loved the pool area, especially the poolhouse beside it, with its small kitchen, sofas, and table. Of all the places we've stayed, this was the prettiest and best.

We were greeted with a glass of wine at this lovely, traditional B&B. The owner was warm and helpful, and spoke good English. Our room was comfortable with a big bed, and there was a nice pool and a beautiful view.
