La Pâquerette

Matilde and Ambra, the two dogs, were the real hosts at breakfast, and so well-behaved! Nicoletta and her mother are lovely people who made us feel at home in this magical mountain setting. The rooms are well kept and have a splendid view. We had such a good weekend here, and I hope to come back soon.

From our room we could see Mont Blanc, a waterfall, and nature all around. The breakfast was superb, with products carefully chosen to suit the guests' needs. We spent the May 1st long weekend at La Paquerette, and the B&B was a real surprise. The location, rooms, and chalet were wonderful, and Nicoletta and her mother were truly exceptional. I'll definitely return, even for a quick weekend away!

The hosts are what make this little gem so special. Maria and her daughter Nicoletta are wonderful people and perfect hosts, and their dog Matilde is lovely too. It's a real vacation for pets as well, since the place is pet-friendly. It's the last house in the village, so it's quiet and peaceful, yet well placed for lots of excursions. The two ground-floor rooms open onto the garden. In the morning, French windows look out over green pastures stretching away to Mont Blanc; to the left, there's a beautifully kept garden with a stunning waterfall in the background. It's real, not a Lord of the Rings scene! The rooms are spacious, neatly organized, and perfectly clean, with enormous bathrooms. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful, served in a small room overlooking the garden or right in the garden itself. This is a little paradise for people and four-legged friends. I'm in love with La Paquerette, so maybe don't go, or there might not be a room when I want to come back.

Right on the edge of La Thuile, this B&B has a lovely view of Mont Blanc while keeping the village and surrounding areas easy to reach. The rooms have a rustic, typical mountain style, with spacious private bathrooms ensuite.
