The manager was kind from the start, replied quickly, and shared useful suggestions. When we needed to change our booking dates at the last minute, she went out of her way to help. Though we'd never met, she treated us like close friends. Easily one of the best stays I've had in a while. The room is right in the city centre, a few minutes' walk from the train station, which makes it handy for exploring the city or Cinque Terre. There are also lots of nice places for breakfast or dinner within a 10-minute walk. Highly recommended, 110%!

The location works well for Cinque Terre, with the train station about a 10-minute walk away. Our room was small but had the basics. The bedding was soft and squishy, but there was no toilet paper, luckily we brought some. The shower grout had yellowed, the bottom of the sliding glass door was chipped and moldy, and there was toothpaste splattered on the tiles by the sink. A double power outlet would help. Sound carries easily, and we could hear people in the hallway. We thought we'd booked a hotel, but it turned out to be an apartment split into four rooms, more like an Airbnb. The agency was hard to reach and only open from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM, which made arriving late difficult. All the entry instructions came through WhatsApp. We never met Valentina because she had unforeseen circumstances, and there was practically no staff around, which was a shame. Driving there was frustrating too. The streets are narrow and mostly one-way, and careless parking can get you a ticket. We spent hours looking for a space, then had to use the underground car park near the station, which cost extra. Breakfast was at a nearby bar, and we paid €10 when booking through the hotel. The orange juice was Tang, not real juice. We ordered the same breakfast at the bar ourselves, two pastries, an Americano, and a cappuccino, for €6. Something doesn't add up, so it's better to pay the bar directly.

The room was clean and comfortable, and when a small issue came up, Valentina fixed it quickly. The central location is handy for everything in town, especially the train station for trips to Cinque Terre. I had a good stay and recommend it.
