Getting around was easy: the station is about a 10-minute walk, and the ferry to 5 terre is only two minutes away, though it costs much more than the train. The room itself was clean and good. Its only window faced an inner shaft with very little light, but at least there was no street noise. It wouldn't be my first choice for spending much time indoors, though. WiFi worked, but the speed was limited, around 11Mb down and 1Mb up. The owner also has deals with some local restaurants, with 10% off the meal price.

The location was the one good point, but nearby places offer more for less. We had no hot water, too few towels, and no cleaning service during our six days. When we asked about the water, we were told they couldn't find a handyman. The street noise was bad, there was no elevator, and the AC didn't work properly. We spent five nights in dirty sheets without AC. Messages went unanswered unless we sent 34 texts. They said they'd refund me, then didn't. I kept texting and was ignored. I booked through another carrier, and Cavallotti told them a reimbursement was coming, so the carrier refused to refund me. Cavallotti never paid, and I lost that chance. This was the first time I'd complained about a hotel, and the service during and after the stay was terrible. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The location is great, just a five-minute walk to the ferry boats, and the room is basic. But the bed in room 1 sank badly on both sides and caused me a lot of back pain. It was really uncomfortable to sleep on and needs a new mattress.

Awful experience. We were given a different room from the one we'd booked. It was noisy and not soundproof, and the extra couch mentioned in the booking wasn't there. When we raised this, the owner was aggressive and didn't seem to care, telling us to find another hotel after 10pm. I highly do not recommend it.
