Hotel Mary

The young woman who checked us out was friendly and helpful. The man who checked us in seemed angry and frustrated that we didn’t understand Italian, even though he just repeated himself loudly. He was trying to explain the four reserved parking spaces. The attached photos may help future guests locate them. They’re about a block from the hotel, at the intersection of Via Castelfidardo and Via Torino. On the southeast corner, the first four spaces are reserved for Hotel Mary. Look for two white "Hotel Mary" signs and a pole-and-ribbon barrier across the empty spaces. With permission from the hotel, move the barrier far enough to park, then use it to block any remaining empty spaces right away.

The shower had quite a bit of mildew and could use a proper cleaning, so I took off one star for that. Everything else was great. The hotel is right by the train station, which makes the location excellent, and breakfast was excellent too, with lots of tasty choices.

The room was good and clean, and the staff were really nice and helpful. Breakfast was homemade and really tasty. The hotel is just outside the train station, but there was no noise at all. I recommend the place.

The room was on the small side, but spotless, and the breakfast was really good. It’s right across from the train station for trips to cinque terre. The staff were such lovely hosts, and even gave me breakfast at no charge although it wasn’t part of my reservation. I’d definitely stay again!
