Le Ville Relais

Le Ville Relais gave my family and guests so many lovely memories that we’ll treasure. I hosted a party of 16 there for five days and four nights in September 2024, and Chiarra and her team made every moment memorable. The views were beautiful, the food outstanding, the accommodations lovely, and the service impeccable. Everyone on staff was attentive and caring. I’d treat yourself to a stay at Le Ville Relais, and I hope to return if I get the chance.

The food was delicious, made with clearly high-quality ingredients by the kitchen team led by Alexandro, who has worked at well-known restaurants in Spain’s Basque region. Valentino, the restaurant sommelier and manager, is an amazing character, and Suzanne takes care of breakfast with a wonderful selection of goodies. The whole team, from housekeeping to the restaurant staff, was fantastic. Miss Chiara Brusoni runs this efficient, helpful family hotel, which has stunning views over the bay of La Spezia. Alfredo drives the shuttle minibus to the station and other destinations, and he’s extremely helpful. Don’t hesitate to book, you’ll love it.

It’s a little outside downtown La Spezia, which suited us just fine. We had everything we wanted and more, with beautiful views, great food, and hardworking, friendly staff who did their best to help with every need. We couldn’t say enough good about our stay.

The staff were both professional and friendly, and the meal was the best dinner I’ve ever had. We chose the five-course seafood menu the chef put together for us, at €52 each, and every course was perfect. The smoked angel fish was brought to the table with real smoke around it, such an experience. Our local wine was €36 a bottle and went beautifully with the seafood, with its sea and local herb flavors from being grown by the coast.
