Giovanni was helpful, polite, and professional from the moment we arrived. He shared some useful tips on getting around La Spezia, what to see, and how to reach it. The hotel also has lovely views, good local shops nearby, and tasty breakfast each day. The rooms were spacious, cosy, clean, and fabulous. My car was damaged in the hotel car park, which was a bit of a problem, but the hotel took care of it. Giovanni did everything he could to help, which took the stress away so I could still enjoy the family holiday. The staff had a welcoming, family-like manner, and the customer service and atmosphere were great. I’d definitely return when I visit Italy again. I wish other hotels would learn from these guys.

The staff were extremely helpful, the service was top-notch, and online replies came very quickly. Our room was huge, with two showers even though there were three of us in a room for four. The breakfast was a great way to start the day, and the train station is just a few minutes’ walk away. I’ll definitely come back if I visit La Spezia again.

I booked this hotel for two nights, but my flight was delayed by five hours and I arrived late to check in. I had proactively texted to explain what happened, yet they wouldn’t let me check in when I arrived. They canceled my room, leaving me to sleep on the hotel porch that night in very cold weather, and didn’t refund my money because I was late. I had to book another hotel the next day. Everyone should be careful with this hotel. It felt like robbery.

The location was the one good thing. There was a terrible smell in the room, especially in the bathroom. We asked to switch rooms, but were told none were available. Thank goodness we were there for only three days 🙏

The rooms were spotless, breakfast was good, and the staff were always around to help. We got a warm welcome and had a perfect stay. Thanks especially to Fiorela! We'll definitely come back.
