The room was very clean and tidied every day, and the host was warm and welcoming. As a solo traveler, I appreciated the directions around the city and the recommendations for places to visit. The hotel is right in central La Spezia. Reception isn't open around the clock, but the host is easy to reach by email or WhatsApp, and messages got quick replies. The sound insulation was weak, so you could clearly hear loud conversations from other rooms. There was also construction noise early, around 8 am. Still, the overall stay was good.

Antonio was a wonderful, accommodating host and suggested some great alternatives during a crowded holiday weekend in Cinque Terre, including Lerici, Tellaro, and Porto Venere. We could leave our bags there the next day and pick them up at 10 pm, which was really helpful. The location is great in La Spezia, a few minutes from the garden and just off the main shopping street, with the train station a 15-minute walk away.

You have to keep almost completely silent here because sound carries straight through the thin walls, and there will be consequences if you’re not quiet enough. antonio was courteous. The location and everything else were fine, but be prepared to stay very quiet. 🤐

Alice & Antonio were so welcoming and had really useful advice. It’s a lovely place to stay, and if you get lucky, your room might have Chagall paintings and pictures of Truffaut.

The owner was very understanding when my train ran late and I missed the check-in time. It’s also a really good-value place to use as a base for Cinque Terre.
