There are several kinds of rooms, and plenty of animals about: cats, dogs, chickens and a rooster, rabbits, and a parrot. The setting on the mountainside is beautiful. But the room's Wi-Fi and air heat pump weren't working, and dog mess was scattered around the yard.

The peaceful surroundings and balcony views made a lasting impression on us. One thing to keep in mind: we walked to Villa Patrizia with our backpacks, and though the route was beautiful, it was quite a challenge. Arriving by car would be much more comfortable. The hosts were some of the kindest, most genuine people we've met, and their care made us feel at home. Each morning, we had a delicious breakfast with a view that made every coffee feel like a dream. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The villa is full of charm, thoughtfully arranged, and immaculately maintained. It felt less like a place to stay and more like being welcomed into a loving home. There are several friendly animals on the property, including sweet dogs, a cat, colorful parrots, and chickens, adding to its cozy, authentic, peaceful character. We loved our stay and only wish it could have been longer. Villa Patrizia is a gem. We're deeply grateful and will carry its beauty and warmth with us until we return. Wholeheartedly recommended.

The host was so kind, and her dog Sophie stole my heart. The location is gorgeous, and breakfast was incredible. It's a real gem in La Spezia. We've already persuaded some friends to stay, and we'd come back here ourselves if we return to town.

A huge breakfast, useful local information, and hosts who were always smiling and welcoming. The rooms were clean, and the garden with puppies, cats, and dwarf hens felt like a little piece of heaven. Just wonderful!

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast, and the hosts were super nice and very helpful. Their family and beautiful animals made us feel welcome. This has been our favorite place to stay so far in Italy. Recommended!
