The hosts are such a warm, dear family. They can provide milk, eggs and honey that they produce themselves. We woke up to one of the most iconic mountain views. We’ll definitely be back!

The ski room downstairs, complete with a boot dryer, was a real plus, and there’s a ski bus stop at the end of the driveway. We rented a car for our week skiing at the huge Dolomiti Super Ski area, though five days barely scratched the surface and deserves another visit. LaVal has two small markets, and there are markets in Colfosco, Arraba, Corvara and Cortina too. The apartment was clean and the hosts were very nice, with pleasant, informative chats almost every day. Christa spoke enough English to be helpful, along with Italian, German and Ladin. Fresh eggs were available, and the WIFI worked well. The bathroom was a good size; there was a bedroom and dining area, plus a galley kitchen with a two-ring electric cooktop, sink and dorm-sized fridge. Each room had its own thermostat for the hot-water heating. The two twin mattresses and duvets in one bed frame, common in Europe, were very comfortable. We also walked the mountain trails from Badia and Corvara, and drove to see the old part of Brunico, Lago di Braies and the refuge above the car park at Pedarü. Lodging is paid by bank transfer or cash in Euros, with no credit cards. Good value, and we’re already planning to return. Ciao! J&R

Such a quiet, beautiful spot, with friendly owners and apartments that are clean, comfortable and fully equipped. I’m promising myself I’ll come back. Definitely recommend it for couples, friends or families.

The people here are open and friendly, and you can order bread, milk and eggs from their farm. The apartments have a comfortable modern design and a great location. You should choose this place.
