Hotel La Reginella Resort & Spa

The large thermal spa and pool area was a highlight, calm and pristine, and our room was spacious, quiet, and beautifully maintained. The food was fantastic, with an amazing restaurant right next door for dinner. La Reginella sits in a charming part of Ischia, close to lots of lovely shops, cafes, and restaurants. The staff were among the kindest people we’ve met: so attentive and ready to go the extra mile to make our stay feel perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return.

For what it costs, it’s a decent hotel, but the breakfasts were terrible. The food was cheap supermarket stuff, the choice was tiny, and the only cooked options were a bland omelette and bacon sitting in grease. They didn’t refill the buffet either, so arriving half an hour before breakfast ended meant getting scraps. I know breakfast isn’t much of a thing in Italy, but this is a hotel for tourists, and in most countries people don’t start the day with desserts and cappuccino. We brought our own salad, salmon, and tea. For the last few days, we just bought breakfast from the hotel opposite, and it was great. We’ll stay there next time. I was also surprised that a spa hotel charges extra for a robe.

Alex and team made the stay so special. Before we arrived, they sent clear details on getting to the hotel and the porter options for our luggage. Alex gave us helpful recommendations when we got there, and since it was my best friend's birthday, Alex and team helped me arrange a little breakfast surprise. They went beyond what they had to, and I really appreciated the hospitality. The hotel and rooms were clean and well maintained, and breakfast was one of the best all inclusive breakfasts we’ve had. It was our fourth visit to Capri, and our time at La Reginella was wonderful. I’d strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Capri. Thanks, Alex and team, for making our stay so great!

A lovely, authentic resort and Spa in a beautiful setting. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it’s a great place if you want to pamper yourself.
