One Love

Getting in was a real hassle. The directions to the house and parking showed up much too late, and the code for the lockbox, which was meant to arrive half an hour before check-in, came only when we were already outside in the rain. The parking area was marked for residents, which felt uncomfortable. The place itself was hard to locate on a steep street, behind an unassuming door in front of a private home. Inside, it was freezing. The bathroom's electric heater didn't work, and two thin blankets weren't enough for October. You could see the lake, but the view was limited, and the terrace wasn't useful at that time of year. I was also uneasy about the booking process. Soon after reserving through booking.com, I was asked to upload a passport copy and a selfie. I've never had Booking ask me for that much personal information before. For what we got, the price felt far too high. It didn't live up to what I expected, and I wouldn't book it again.
