Fantastic place.

Astrid, the manager, was very kind when we arrived and throughout the following days, and she even shared ideas for excursions. We stayed in one of the apartments and found it clean, neat, and welcoming. A charming place tucked into a maze of narrow lanes between houses.

My family and I stayed here in winter and were perfectly warm. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. It’s a few kilometers from Merano, with good bus connections.

Astrid was a real stroke of luck for us. She looks after the apartments with such warmth, is easy to reach in person or by phone, and always finds a solution to requests. Her recommendations made our holiday a highlight. The place was clean and well cared for. Our apartment was tidy and in great condition, with a nearly new, fully equipped kitchenette and all the basics for the first few days, including dishcloths, dishwasher tablets, and coffee filters. We had a large terrace or balcony with mountain views. There’s also a small shop in the hallway for cold drinks and snacks. We changed our towels during the stay without any trouble. We tried both breakfast at the neighboring Hotel Tahlguter and the bread roll delivery, and both were excellent. We could park right outside, and our dog was warmly welcomed. Guests included solo travelers, couples, small groups, and families. We highly recommend these apartments. In our opinion, Algund is the prettiest town near Merano and a great base for activities in and around the city. We’d love to come back :-)
