We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and in the village. It’s a small, cute place with a nice family-friendly feel. We were there for a week with three kids and a dog, and found the rooms clean and good, simple but comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there were good parking spots. Breakfast was really good. As Swedes, we’re not used to having so many sweet things in the morning 😆, but the fruit salad was AMAZING, and the whole family ate lots of fruit every day. One small downside was the lack of a mini fridge for water, though at checkout they said one would be installed by next summer. The air conditioning in our room didn’t always work properly either. It was fine in the kids’ room, but ours was a bit weak sometimes.

The room was newly renovated and clean, but the toilet was placed awkwardly, so one leg had to be in the shower to fit. You can hear a train passing on the other side of the road. Private parking costs 20 euros, though there are a few free spaces by the road. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast service was good.

Getting to the city center and main attractions was easy thanks to the hotel’s convenient location. Parking nearby isn’t free, though, and once you find a space, you’re better off leaving the car there. We booked a double room with a sea view and breakfast included. The room looked like the photos, but water leaked during showers, and the two single beds pushed together kept separating, which made sleeping somewhat uncomfortable. Breakfast was the bigger disappointment. The website promised a buffet with a wide choice, but when we arrived around 9:00, despite service running until 10:00, it was nearly empty. There were only a few leftovers, nothing was replenished for us or for people arriving later, and staff had already begun clearing up. We paid for a service that wasn’t provided as described.
