Hotel Windsor

We loved the room, it was lovely and really comfortable, and falling asleep with the waves just outside the window was such a treat. The hotel has beautiful design and sits right on the beachfront. Breakfast was spectacular, with the best local ingredients, and we absolutely loved it. We also enjoyed a scenic walk along the promenade by the shore to nearby Alassio and back. Can't wait to return in the summer.

My husband could keep his bike safely in the gym, and the private beach was a huge plus. The loungers were spaced out generously, unlike the packed chairs at nearby beach clubs. The hotel also has a wonderful location, friendly and helpful staff, clean, well-designed rooms, and breakfast with everything you'd want.

We stayed for 6 nights and felt at home returning to the hotel each day. The carefully considered interior design is full of thoughtful little touches. The staff were all disarmingly friendly, without the formality you can get at hotels like this. The food was tremendous, especially lunch: simple, tasty dishes brought to your lounger in easy-to-eat takeaway containers. What a lovely detail. Our junior suite on the third floor had a sea view balcony. Waking and falling asleep to the sound of the waves was incredible. The town gets loud at night, but the soundproofing is extremely good. From the balcony, it was lovely to hear people enjoying themselves. The hotel is right on the beach, with a private beach club and your own reserved loungers. They don't cram a million deckchairs together. At the edge of the main beachside paths, it was ideal for people watching and always felt alive. This place is a treasure. I've stayed in much more expensive places and enjoyed them less, and felt less at home. I hope it stays this way so I can come back.

We had a fantastic 7-night stay at Hotel Windsor, and the sea view room we were upgraded to really made it special. The view was stunning. The staff were very friendly and exceptional, with easy WhatsApp communication and great recommendations and help. The evening drinks atmosphere was relaxing, and the continental breakfast had lots of delicious options. The beach was a highlight too, never crowded and incredibly relaxing. The location made it easy to explore the town's many bars and restaurants, and the train station was close by for travel. Housekeeping was attentive, the room spotless every day, and we appreciated the evening turndown service. Our only very minor issues were that the wardrobe felt small for two people on a 7-night stay, and we found other town dining options better than the restaurant's okay evening food. We had a great time and will definitely return. I'd highly recommend it.
