Update 11/09/2025: We stopped here again on our way back from vacation. The young man who welcomed us was very kind and even came out to dry the chairs. Brando, our dog, was welcomed too, with a bowl of water. The coffee was excellent. Bye for now 👋 I came back yesterday, September 1, 2025, two or three years after my first visit. Both times, we only used the bar. The place is now called Chiar di Luna 2.0, so I suspect the management has changed. The first time we met a young man; yesterday, the woman and man we saw looked practically identical, so I'm sure they were father and daughter! The coffee had a rich, lasting flavour, and the atmosphere was clean and very courteous. Bar prices are fair. The restaurant is suitable for banquets, and the bathrooms are clean and fully equipped. We'll definitely return!

The setting is fabulous, and there's also the option to stay overnight. We had an excellent lunch with fresh pasta and locally sourced food. The staff were extremely kind, friendly, and professional. Beautiful agriturismo, with fair prices for the quality. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

We had a room booked and confirmed for November 14, 2025, and arrived on time at 5:45 PM. Nobody was there. I tried calling several times, but every call went straight to voicemail. At 6:40 PM, we gave up and started looking for somewhere else. I was disappointed that I couldn't give it a higher rating. The only thing I liked was the location, five minutes from the A2 motorway to Salerno.

The food was delicious and the prices were really good. Service and attention to detail were impeccable, too. We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Chiara di Luna, with a warm, personal welcome from the helpful owner and professional, friendly staff who were ready to take care of our requests. I highly recommend it for a comfortable, pleasant stay. Thank you for the hospitality and kindness! 5/5 stars.

We had a moonlit weekend at a fabulous location, and the young staff were knowledgeable and always available. Roberto and Daniela made us feel truly at home. Luca, the attentive and helpful maître d', Lucas the chef, whose dishes were a treat, and Luigi, who makes excellent pizzas, all helped make it special. We'll be back soon. Thanks again, Roberto. Highly recommended. Friends from Lecce
