The grounds are beautiful, and the room was lovely. There’s a great spa and sauna, plus a generous breakfast with milk, yogurt, and cheese from their cows. One thing to know: they don't take credit cards.

It's a traditional, very quiet place, and the playground feels safe for children. You can get close to nature here and watch the farm's cows. Even with the maso opposite the main square, the windows do a great job keeping sound out. The furnishings in the house are mediocre, though. Wi-Fi only worked near the mobile signal amplifier, there was no hot water at night, and they don't accept credit or debit cards.

We came for skiing in Val Gardena. Lajon is a little out of the way, but still a reasonable drive from the ski area. The farmhouse has been renovated beautifully, keeping its rustic country feel while adding modern comforts, and the spa was a great extra. I'd happily return.

The Meinhard Schenk family made us feel at home, with a lovely homemade breakfast each morning made from their own produce. Everything felt authentic, from the local products and fresh air to the farmhouse itself, which has been beautifully cared for and has so many thoughtful details. It's right on Laion's main square, where people know and greet one another and look after what they have. We were met with real kindness and courtesy throughout. Thank you for such a lovely experience.
