You really feel like a guest at this family-run camping place, not just another number. It's right on the beach, so you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves. There's a small market and bar, fresh fruit and a baker each morning, plus evening entertainment for kids and adults. The nearby airport was the one drawback, though it didn't seem especially busy, even when we were there in peak summer. Whenever I pass through Calàbbria, I'll stop here.

We stopped with our motorhome for one night. It's close to the sea, with a short paved promenade, and the owner was very nice. He said his family has owned the site for over 50 years. The facilities need investment and upgrading, and having to pay for showers feels outdated. There was no pool, despite it being advertised. In winter the entertainment, bar, and shop were all closed. We could hear some aircraft from the local airport.

This was our third stay here, just for a night before heading on to Sicily. The beach is very close, and we like the location a lot. The toilet and shower block is roomy and laid out well, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely return.

We came early in the season while the owners were still getting things ready for summer, but they let us stay for the night. They’re the best part of the campsite, so welcoming and friendly. The washrooms were good. Hot showers cost a token, but it was so hot that we used the free cold ones instead. There’s a little shop in peak season, though it wasn’t open during our visit. A gate at the back gives you a short walk to the beach, which could use some tidying. The main downside was the low aircraft passing overhead, mostly Ryanair, from the nearby airport.

You can hear the waves from the house, and the camping spot is in a lovely green setting. Nicola was such a kind, wonderful host. One of the best experiences we had in Calabria, I’d recommend it completely.
