Really nice.

The hosts were kind and helpful, and the Afro-Mediterranean garden was lovely and well cared for. We spent a peaceful week in the delightful dammusi, close to the sea. I'd recommend it if you're after a relaxing stay.

Our rooms flooded after only a few hours of rain, which made this a disastrous stay. The property seemed completely neglected, with old, leaky bathrooms, a very dated shared kitchen, and soaked sheets. When we raised the problems, the owners' son threatened to take action against us instead of treating us with care and respect. That was serious and unacceptable at a place presenting itself as a tourist destination. The service was terrible, and management felt aggressive and unsafe. I strongly recommend staying at Larga.

We went to Lampedusa for my birthday 🎂 and the Claudio BAGLIONI concert, but staying at Blue & Green residence (former stable) was awful. I'd strongly tell people not to recommend it, though calling it a ban would be too much. Water came in from everywhere after just an hour of rain. The centralized air conditioning, made from pipes from an old horse trough, was far too noisy. The mattresses were straw, and the bed bases looked like construction boards from 1945/50. In the kitchen, a camping-style kitchenette was shared with cockroaches, mice, and cats. The table was disconnected, and round benches left your back against the stone, surrounded by water, damp, insects, rats, and other animals. Leave food on the table for a minute and turn around for a fork, and it might be gone or chewed by a mouse. The sheets weren't even acrylic, more like pressed cardboard, and sewer smells spread through every part of the place. The floor with straw and the French window for airing felt exactly like a pen for pigs and/or horses. During the holiday, Lampedusians kept asking us, "But where are you staying... and Cavaddi?" That's what the area is called because there used to be stables. They removed the hay and painted the concrete floor dark. The roof is rotten wood, there's a rickety coat rack, and the bathroom traps 🤣🤣🤣... I'll leave that there. In the shower, the curtain sticks to you, and the rubber hoses are like a dinghy. The lady calls it a Summer Facility, but to me it was a stable for pigs, cattle, or at most horses, and not fit for hygienic or civil living. The family were another problem. The son tried to pick fights with all the customers and threatened people not to talk about what they'd seen inside "his stable." The husband said he'd throw you out with a bulldozer if you talked about them. They basically have all the equipment for a riding stable, not a private home. Read the real reviews across platforms, not the strategic ones written by friends of friends. You can contact me privately for all the real details. For really positive experiences, I'd recommend Coast House restaurant, Arcobaleno for car and scooter rental, and Lady Giò di Giacomo and Family for boat excursions.

The place was spotless and conveniently located for visiting all the island's beaches. We were already impressed by the owner over the phone, but on arrival the genuine warmth and friendly hospitality won us over. Mrs. Ambra and her husband, Mr. Guido, were especially courteous and helpful, explaining the property and its services and sharing information about nearby attractions. They deserve special praise. We'll definitely be back ❤️
