El Mosaico del Sol

The boat trips are well worth doing. Orazio is a lovely captain and a great cook, and towels and gear like masks are provided. We stayed at the town-center property near Via Roma and the Porto Vecchio, with private hotel parking. Cleanliness was exemplary, from the fresh smell in the lobby to the daily room cleaning and towel changes, including pool towels. Our room had a fully equipped kitchen, Sky TV, and a fridge with complimentary drinks replenished every day. There was also an umbrella in the room, Wi-Fi, and a round-trip airport shuttle. Breakfast had a generous mix of sweet and savory options, and the property has a pool with a hydromassage area, a solarium, a barbecue area, and a terrace where you can hang wet swimsuits or clothes. Mr. Renato and his family, along with all the staff, were so kind and helpful with information and requests, and gave us advice on activities, boat trips, excursions, beach services, and restaurants. It made for a magical holiday and a birthday to remember. Every detail mattered, and we were very happy with our stay. Congratulations to Mr. Renato's family and the whole team. The location worked really well for us, close to the old port and an easy walk to Via Roma, with a supermarket and restaurants nearby. At check-in, Renato gave us a map and guide to Lampedusa and suggestions for places to eat and rent a car. We also appreciated the small gift he gave us when we left, to mark the property's anniversary. The place is beautifully kept, and cleanliness stood out: the lobby smelled fresh, rooms were cleaned daily, and towels were changed without us having to ask. We found lots of useful extras, including scooters and electric bicycles, an umbrella in the room, airport transport both ways, and complimentary drinks replenished daily in the fridge. Breakfast was generous with sweet and savory choices. There’s a pool with a hydromassage area, a solarium, barbecue space, a terrace for hanging wet clothes and swimsuits, and Sky TV in the room. Ours also had a fully equipped kitchen for cooking. Renato and the staff were incredibly kind and ready to help with whatever we needed. Staying at El Mosaico del Sol felt like home, only we got to relax and be looked after. We were very pleased with the experience, and we’ll definitely return one day. ☺️

Renato, his lovely family, and the staff made sure we had a relaxing holiday. They were always smiling and happy to offer advice about experiences or anything else we needed. Their son Rocco also deserves a mention for making the best cappuccino in Lampedusa. The rooms were spacious, cared for, and consistently clean, and the pool was lovely, open at all hours, with a whirlpool and a spotless outdoor area. There’s a big terrace with views over the port of Lampedusa, plenty of sun loungers, covered seating spots, and tables for eating your own meals. You can use the barbecue areas to cook there too. Breakfast was plentiful and very good, and the staff were always available to help. Having a scooter provided for exploring the island was a real bonus. A wonderful place, meticulously looked after and comfortable, with everything we needed. Thanks for everything!

Renato’s enthusiasm and passion really come through, and the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and so helpful. The place itself was comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had an exceptional stay. P.S. Take the boat tour if you can, the food is amazing and the scenery is beautiful.
