Hotel Macondo

The food was the highlight for me: lunch and dinner were amazing, and the generous portions made the chef's creations even more enjoyable. The rooms were good, and having both a pool and gym made the stay even nicer. A great place in Lampedusa to relax.

Adam is the best football player on the island, and the pitch is nearby :D. There’s also the famous macondo club, a great gym and swimming pool, and rooms where you can relax. Whether you want a quiet break or a place to plan an adventure, the staff adjust to what you need and make you feel like family. It works perfectly for all kinds of stays.

The hardest part was having to leave Macondo. I’m definitely coming back. The place itself is beautiful, clean, and calm, and the pool has sunbeds right in the water. You could easily stay at the hotel for days, though there’s plenty to discover outside too. The food was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel, generous and genuinely homemade. I’m already longing to return just for dinner. I arrived with an injury from a small accident back home, and everyone immediately pitched in to help me recover as quickly as possible. The service was excellent and so thoughtful. Food appeared when it was time to eat, they gave me a ride when I needed one, and brought me a drink when I was thirsty. I’ve been to lots of places around Europe, but this one felt like stepping into a dream and finding a new family.

The owners are really friendly, and the food was amazing. The rooms were clean and cozy too. I’d definitely recommend this hotel for a holiday in Lampedusa.
