Hotel Moschella

The place was in good shape, but it didn’t suit what we were looking for. We came in the first week of October hoping for a hotel near the center with breakfast. The rooms were spacious and clean, but there was an unpleasant smell in the hallway, and it’s not a good choice if you’re sensitive to noise. Our room faced a busy street, noisy from early morning until late at night, and the nearby center meant loud music carried on late. It felt more like a B&B than a hotel, perhaps because of the season. Instead of breakfast at the property, we received a €6 voucher for a pastry shop about 150 meters away. That wasn’t what we expected. The pastry shop owner, who said she was a cousin of the owner of La Moschella, explained they do this when there aren’t many guests because serving breakfast at the hotel isn’t worthwhile. We raised the issue with the owner after a couple of days and got an explanation directly from them. The staff were friendly and reachable by phone, though they weren’t on site. We had independent access with keys to both the main entrance and our room.

A little piece of my heart stayed here, and we’ll definitely see you again! I visited in mid-September and loved how kind and helpful the staff were. The property was very clean and just a few meters from Lampedusa's main street. Breakfast was generous, with plenty of choices and, above all, great quality. They even include a beach towel, which isn’t something you can count on everywhere.

It felt like home during our eight nights at the Hotel Moschella. The new property is well looked after, and our room had everything we needed, including a small balcony, air conditioning, and a little refrigerator. Everything was exceptionally clean, and Via Roma is just steps away. Rossana arranged our transfers and scooter rental directly. Recommended!

Less than a minute from Via Roma, this is a very central place to stay. Mrs. Rossana is so kind and helpful that you feel at home within five minutes of arriving. The rooms and the whole property are spotless, and they keep up that high standard every day. Breakfast has a great mix of sweet and savory choices. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
