The owner was so kind and spent time sitting and chatting with us. That was heartwarming. We stayed at Borgo dei Gigli for 8 days, and it's easily my best accommodation experience so far. The place is beautiful and full of charm, with a huge garden, lots of covered places to sit, plus billiards, foosball, and ping-pong. Nobody should get bored here. There's also a large pool with a breathtaking view, and the rooms were excellent. There were quite a few insects, but in a natural setting like this I don't see that as a real problem. I'd return any time.

The apartment had plenty of room for our family of four and was very clean. Parking is close and convenient, and every apartment has its own patio or gazebo outside. The views are amazing. Our kids especially loved the pool, playground, and foosball table. The pool has a hot tub, which was regular water temperature during our stay, a deeper pool, and a small kid-friendly pool in the corner. It's well located, about an hour by car to Florence and not much farther to Sienna, Lucca, Pisa, and other places. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it.

Borgo dei Gigli has felt like home to us for years. We've been coming here for 7 years, and we honestly think we'll keep returning for the next 30. In all of Tuscany, we don't believe there's a more beautiful place. The rooms and pool are lovely, but it's hostess Donika who makes this place so special. It's simply a dream. The pool is exquisite, and the apartments are pleasant and clean. Borgo dei Gigli sits on a quiet hill in a beautiful spot, and the hosts are friendly and helpful. A great place for a Tuscan vacation, highly recommended.

The beds were really comfortable, and the pool is big. Such a lovely place for a vacation. For a road trip from Norway, this is just life. 5 out of 5, simply amazing. I'd love to come back.
