We loved staying here. The hotel is charming and beautiful, and Lamporechio is a lovely town. Our hosts were kind and helpful, and breakfast was delicious, especially the amazing coffee. We also really enjoyed dinner at the restaurant inside the hotel and would recommend it 100%. The location works well if you want to visit Florence and Pisa, both about an hour away by car. I’d strongly suggest renting a car in advance and picking it up at the airport so it’s easier to get between cities.

The staff all spoke English and were very helpful. The hotel is well kept and has a tradition to it, with a touch of Tuscan luxury. Our room was spotless, the bed linen was comfortable, and the mattresses were firm, which I like. Breakfast was very good for Italy, with pastries, some savory options, juices, fruit salad, cheese, ham, and excellent cappuccino. One room tip: ask for one that doesn’t face the square. The street and square can be noisy if you’re a light sleeper.

The service was very friendly and nice, and the rooms were good. I stayed for just two nights to do a little sightseeing nearby. The location is handy for sightseeing without being so close to the center that you get the noise. I’ll come back to the same hotel.

I loved the service here. The staff were respectful, helpful, and always smiling. There’s a laundromat nearby, as well as a good cafe.
