Hotel Burgleitenhof

We had two bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a big balcony where we ate lunch and dinner. The rooms were beautiful and roomy, and there was a lovely pool for cooling off on hot days. We spent a wonderful week here with our family, near Lana di Sotto. Some excellent restaurants nearby serve delicious food, and you can get to the Lana trail, which follows the mountainside with views across the whole valley. Most of all, I want to thank the owners for their courtesy, kindness, helpfulness, and warmth. They are truly wonderful people. I hope we can return soon.

Breakfast was delicious, and everyone was attentive and friendly. It has a real family feel, and chatting with the owners and other guests comes easily. We spent a few lovely days at the Burgleitenhof last week. The bathrooms have just been renovated, and the rest of the place is in good to very good shape. The TVs might seem a little small to some, but we weren't in South Tyrol to watch television. We'll definitely be back at the Burgleitenhof.

There are several good restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are beautiful, the views are stunning, and it's a great base for hiking. On a sunny afternoon, take in the mountain panorama from the terrace or balcony. A glass of wine makes it even nicer.

Irene and Andrea make the hotel feel warm in a way that's hard to find elsewhere. They're incredibly friendly, and Katharina, our breakfast fairy, seemed to know what we'd need before we asked. The wine list was fantastic, too, and made for cozy evenings with friendly fellow guests. We were back for a second week-long stay with the children in July 2020. The rooms were lovely and clean, and the pool with its mountain view was stunning. We'd love to come again. Many thanks, and best wishes to Lana!
