The staff were great, the service was very good, and the food was great too. It’s a perfect base for traveling around the Italian dolomites, with lots of family attractions atound. We highly recommend it.

We’ve stayed here several times as a family of four, in both summer and fall. The apartment was very clean and laid out well, with plenty of room for all of us. Half-board has suited us on every visit: a generous breakfast buffet and a multi-course dinner each evening, with several choices per course and alternatives for children. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There’s plenty to do during the day, with a garden pool, indoor pool, saunas, a tennis court, and a fitness room.

The Sky Room was new, spotless, and spacious, with a panoramic sauna only a few meters away. We felt very comfortable throughout our week at the Gschangut. The service staff were attentive and friendly, and the hotel is a great base for hikes and trips around the region. After walking the irrigation channels (Waalwege) above Merano and Lana, we enjoyed the varied four-course dinners. The free South Tyrol Ticket also made it easy to travel to Merano and Bolzano. We had wonderful days in South Tyrol and would gladly return.

The suite was very spacious, modern, and comfortable, with thoughtful extras like magazines and a well-stocked bar that made the stay especially pleasant. The refined, high-quality cuisine is a real highlight, as is the new wellness area on the third floor.

We’ve just come back from a wonderful holiday at Gschwangut, and the whole team was fantastic, taking care of every need. The spacious room had modern furnishings and a lovely balcony. And the food was a delight every day, with four courses each evening. We’re grateful for such a great time at the hotel and would love to return.
