Green House

Breakfast was described to us as snacks only because of COVID, supposedly by law, and nobody mentioned the bar. Were we meant to ask for that too? Saying we only had to ask is too easy. At €90 a night, a hotel-level price, services should be provided rather than rationed on request. We were also told right away that cleaning wouldn't be done: the owner said this was a B&B, not a hotel, and she wouldn't enter the rooms until the end of our stay, so we had to keep them clean ourselves. That's against B&B rules requiring cleaning at least every three days, and contradicts the room sign promising cleaning every 24 hours. Guests shouldn't have to request cleaning; it should simply happen.

I booked this B&B on a whim while visiting friends in Lanciano and felt at home straight away. Mrs. Carmela was very helpful, the room was welcoming, and the towels and sheets were always clean. I'd recommend it to travelers who want to feel at home.

I was just passing through Lanciano and stayed at the Green House. It was quiet despite being very close to the center, and the room was cozy and clean. I'll come back with my family.

The rooms are quiet and very clean, and it's an excellent base for enjoying Lanciano. The owner was kind and welcoming.
