Villa Arianna B&B

We loved spending a week at Villa Arianna. The food was fantastic, and Maurizio and Liliane were always smiling and worked hard to make sure we had a good stay. The rooms were clean and pleasant, and the pool was spotless. Vineyards are within walking distance, with pizzerias and grocery stores just a few minutes away. Still, with the large garden and the way the house is situated, it feels far from everything when you want to relax. It’s also well placed for driving to several attractions.

The evening meal, freshly made by Liliane, was delicious. We came looking for somewhere to unwind, and Villa Arianna gave us that in a warm and welcoming way. It has lots of charm and reflects its owners’ personalities, a lovely change from a corporate hotel.

It’s a quiet, clean B&B with a friendly host who had useful information to share. There’s a private pool on the property, though we didn’t use it. We paid around €80 per night, breakfast included, and there was plenty to eat: fresh cheeses, salami, croissants, cereal, and more. Great restaurants are about half a mile away on a lovely walk, including Pizzeria Nel Mio Piccolo. A good base if you want a quiet part of Tuscany that’s still within reach of popular places like Florence, Lucca, and Pisa.

We come back every year to relax and recharge. The owners are on site and very helpful, and the country setting is beautiful, surrounded by olive trees. It’s so peaceful to swim in the pool, lie in a hammock, or sit outside chatting with friends.
