House Cefalu 1915

The saltwater pool makes it tempting to stay at the villa instead of heading to the nearby beach. It’s air-conditioned throughout, and there’s a veranda surrounded by greenery for breakfast or a meal. Just a few kilometers from Cefalù, it worked really well for families and young people. Simona and Sergio were extremely helpful with all our requests. I highly recommend it.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable and squeaky, and the electrical system felt rundown and unsafe, especially with small children around. The rooms were cool, but very dark, dirty, and poorly maintained. We were also beset by ants and mosquitoes. I don’t think the apartment had ever seen a broom or vacuum cleaner. It’s a real shame because the pool outside is very nice, even though the outdoor area is neglected too. The owner was very courteous, but courtesy doesn’t cost much. It would be more useful to put more into the apartments instead of focusing everything on revenue. I hope they improve how the place is managed.

A lovely beach is less than a five-minute drive away, with others easy to get to as well. Cefalù and the surrounding area are convenient to explore from here. The house was very clean and quiet, and came with sheets, pillows, and things for cooking and washing dishes. It suits couples as well as families, with a slide and swings for children. The owners are really kind and friendly, and the price is reasonable.

The garden feels like Eden, and the location is handy for the highway, water park, go-kart track, beach, Cefalù, and all the lovely sights around the area. We found far more services and little extras inside the house than we expected. The quality for the price is top-notch. I felt at home within five minutes, and now I know how I’d like to spend my old age. We couldn’t have asked for more and will recommend it to all our friends!
