10/10
This is my usual place when I’m in Rome. It’s good value, clean, warm, and comfortable, and the staff are always friendly and ready to help. Breakfast is fantastic. There are good places to eat within walking distance, a bus stop outside, and the train station is 500m away.

4/10
The rates are affordable, the rooms are somewhat clean, and the hotel sits right beside the train station, with frequent trains to and from Rome. There’s a lot of potential here, but the description badly oversells the amenities. There is no pool or working hot tub. Breakfast is continental, and there’s no coffee, though even instant coffee and hot water would be enough. Wi-Fi is practically nonexistent: it’s weak, and when it does connect, it’s unsecured with no password. This place needs new owners and an update. They should remove the hot tub and make a nice rooftop patio instead.

There was mold in the room, and the gentleman at reception was unpleasant. When we complained, they didn’t refund our money. Never again!

The location is right beside the train station. I haven’t had dinner yet, but the rooms are poor, more like an average B&B. The old man at reception is, well, an old man. I won’t say anything more about that. The air conditioning makes noise but doesn’t work.

8/10
The rooms are okay, but some things really need maintenance, and breakfast could be better. It’s a bit expensive, though worth it for one night.
