We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony, and it was handy to have secure parking for the car. The hotel is good for a few days, with a lovely view over the harbor and sea. The bathroom needs some work: the shower stall had a broken showerhead and a curtain that didn’t keep the water in, and using the toilet meant standing with one leg in the shower. The air conditioner was right above the bed and its volume couldn’t be adjusted, which was annoying. Nearby, just under the train tracks, there are some nice squares with places to eat.

The building feels old, and the location overlooking the harbor isn’t the best. It’s comfortable enough for a stopover, but I’d find it less suitable for a vacation.

A quiet place to get a good night’s sleep, and breakfast was excellent. There’s even a pool. The price seemed about right for August in Liguria, though a bit pricey.
