Parco Vacanze Lo Scoglio

We had a lovely stay in our tent. The toilets and showers stayed very clean, and the owner, the dog, and the staff were all friendly. Lavagna is a pleasant little city, with prettier towns and larger nice cities nearby. The beach is very close and free to access, and drinks and bites there are fairly cheap. There are good hiking options around here too. For the quality, the campsite is quite inexpensive. Showers are free, though a warm one costs 50 cents. Even if that small charge were included in the overall price, I think it would still be cheap. It's just a matter of preference. The one thing that could be improved is the electrical setup. At least at the campsite, the current is too low for electric cooking equipment, so bring a gas stove if you're camping in a tent. I imagine that limitation is part of what keeps the price low.

Be careful, communication with this campsite is really poor. They asked me to confirm my booking, then a few hours later sent a generic email saying they hadn't checked their spam folder and someone else had booked my spot. They could have tried to sort it out by referring me to another campsite. That's not the Italian way, not the Italian way of finding a solution!

Our bungalow had everything we needed for a short stop. It was cozy and clean, with a nice view, close to the beach, and had its own bathroom. We really liked the kitchen.

We had a really pleasant three-night stay at this nice campsite near the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We wanted food quite late, and they even called three pizza places to try to order some for us.
