Hotel Dante

It was dusty while they were renovating, and it didn’t feel as good as when we stayed before.

The staff were genuinely welcoming, kind, and helpful, which would make me consider coming back. The rates are quite reasonable, so I didn’t feel I had much to complain about. It sits in Lavello’s historic center, along a narrow, picturesque street in an old building. The rooms feel dated and could use an update, and the steep stairs would be tough if you’re carrying heavy things. For a low-key few days without high expectations or spending much, the hotel and city are a good fit.

You get a lovely view from this hotel right in the center, with restaurants, bars, and a pharmacy nearby. We bring our big dogs every time, and the warm, welcoming owners and staff treat us wonderfully. The rooms are large and clean, breakfast is served quickly at the bar, and the owners are lovely. The best hotel in Lavello, and five stars well earned.

The frescoed ceilings in the spacious rooms are beautiful, and we loved the location in the lovely village of Lavello. The owners and staff were so friendly. We spent two nights here with our one-year-old daughter and had a wonderful stay. I highly recommend it.
