The location was hard to beat, just two minutes from the waterfront. We chose Lazise for its quieter feel compared with Sirmione, and it turned out to be a great decision. We rented bikes and rode all day. The ride to Garda was better; we also took our bikes on the public ferry to Sirmione, but it was too busy for cycling there, so we rode to Desanzano and took the ferry back. After two nights, I’m still puzzled that this is rated as a one-star property. Our arrival was a little confusing because the hotel is connected to the liquor store next door, but once we figured that out, everything else was wonderful. Our host was charming and funny. There’s a lift for luggage to the upper floors, though people have to use the stairs. Our room was compact, modern, and clean, with a great bed and pillows and good Wi-Fi. The shower is small, and there’s no mini-fridge. Breakfast included fantastic espresso and cappuccino, cheese, cold cuts, yogurt, fruit, and a few baked goods. Everyone was welcoming and made us feel at home. The adjoining liquor store also serves drinks, a lovely way to end the day.

The room was spacious and super clean, and the breakfast buffet was generous, with lots of fresh produce. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. The owner greeted us warmly and was always available to sort out problems or meet requests. Check-in happens in the wine shop next door. We’ll definitely be back, and thanks again for everything!

We stayed for three days and had a positive experience overall. The hotel is right in the center, within the city walls and close to both the lake and the parking lot. You can use the nearby parking lot or ask the owners about parking. The owners and staff were very kind and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean, with a private bathroom, but the soundproofing was poor. We could hear everything from nearby rooms, including the TV, shower and toilet, as well as people in the hallway. Breakfast suited the hotel’s category, with sweet and savory choices and options for people with intolerances.
