The gated private parking on the property was a real bonus so close to the center of Lazise, and the place itself is quiet while still being near town. I stayed in winter, so I couldn't use the pool, though the garden and pool were beautifully maintained and look like they'd be spectacular in summer. We had a weekend with temperatures close to 20 degrees Celsius, which gave us a feel for how pleasant it can be there. The apartment is simple, very clean and well cared for, with everything you need.

The location was the only plus. Pergola was very dated and badly in need of renovation, and the apartment looked nothing like the photos. We got no explanation about how things worked and were left to figure it out. The door code opened it once, then the door stayed open. There were problems all over: the shower rail was broken, the shower walls filthy, and the broken toilet seat didn't fit. A bedroom outlet was hanging right out of the wall. The gas stove either wouldn't light or produced a huge flame that couldn't be turned down properly. Cutlery didn't match, dishes were scarce, and the kettle was so caked in limescale it was too dirty to touch. The kitchen chairs... well. The garden furniture cushions were dirty and a cat kept occupying them. We had to ask several times for towels, which weren't there, and there were no blankets, just a sheet. I wouldn't recommend this apartment to anyone. Even one star is too much.

The landlady was very nice and friendly, and the pool was great and well maintained. The apartment is close to the center of Lazise, though it's dated and due for renovation. The water pressure was so poor that showering the children or rinsing long hair was impossible. The little water that came out was either cold or scalding hot, which felt very dangerous for kids. The gas stove's piezo igniter didn't work either. We reported the problems, but nothing was fixed. Such a shame, since otherwise everything would have been perfect.

The location, garden, and pool are fantastic, but the apartment is a real shame. A lot of things are broken or dirty, and even the pool loungers are broken. Hardly any water comes from the tap, so showering is a nightmare, and it swings between boiling hot and freezing cold. The taps leak everywhere, the living room chairs wobble, and the beds are uncomfortable. There are few, if any, decent pans in the cupboard. The toilet is dirty and its toilet roll holder is broken. The outdoor chairs are broken or dirty too. It's all old junk.
