Betty's House

Betty was flexible when we missed check-in, and let us arrive an hour late. She was so friendly and helpful, and speaks German and English, which made communication easy. She recommended local restaurants we loved and helped us get oriented by the lake. The location suited us well. It wasn't in the middle of a busy town, which we prefer to avoid, but there was a lively local square with good restaurants. Breakfast was amazing, with a great selection of local and homemade food and products. There were slightly different things each of our two mornings. We also found a nice bottle of wine in the room. Our room was spacious, clean, and cleaned again while we were out, and the bed was comfortable. There are parking spaces on the property, a garden guests can use, and a small pool.

Betty gave us exactly the kind of place we hoped to find for a few days in Lazise. She made us feel at home with her lovely hospitality and customer service. The hotel was just a few minutes from all the spots we wanted to visit. 11/10 recommend👌🏽

Betty clearly loves what she does, and it comes through in how she hosts. This was one of my best small-hotel experiences. We only stayed a few days, but the old house has been turned into a hotel with just a few rooms and still feels like home. Lovely atmosphere and a great breakfast. Definitely coming back.

Betty was kind and helpful, and the free parking is right in front of the house. Our room was very clean and well maintained, with air conditioning and mosquito nets on the windows. Breakfast was wonderful, including homemade sweets. We stayed two nights and would definitely come again if we're back at Lake Garda. It's also a great base for Gardaland or exploring the lake.
