Villa Morene

The villa looks nice, but the kitchen didn't have a good range of cooking utensils. While we were asleep, someone broke in, and the experience was traumatic enough that we had to cut our vacation short. The location is now listed as Villa Sellemond on rental websites, which doesn't show reviews about the break-in.

There's a lot of crime in the neighborhood. I wouldn't recommend it.

The location is fantastic, and the service before arrival was excellent. There's lots of room in the house, and the pool makes it a relaxing place to spend the summer. The fence and alarm system gave us a sense of security, and the parking was great. But for this price, the house needs more repairs and renovations. The kitchen chairs are extremely uncomfortable, the oven needs cleaning, and one of the beds collapsed. There were no instructions for the air conditioning or heating. The pool wasn't clean and could use a cover; all the light switches need replacing, many lights are broken, and entering the gate PIN is a hassle. It's a great house in many ways, but it should be in much better condition for what it costs.

The place is nice, but there's a high level of crime at this property. Signs on the doors and windows point to multiple earlier break-ins, and I wouldn't recommend staying here. It's now being listed as Villa Sellemond, which appears to hide bad reviews and photos showing signs of break-ins.
