The location is perfect, an easy walk to Lecce's beautiful historic centre. Staying here felt like being immersed in a real puglian home. Gio. and Giusy are attentive, excellent hosts who've thought of every need. The room was large, clean, and comfortable, and so was the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, and each morning brought a lovely breakfast with homemade marmalade and traditional breakfast items. After a long day touring the region or shopping, there are cosy couches for watching TV, with Sky and Netflix.

The special breakfast each morning was superb, and we loved the great location. The people running the place were fantastic, easygoing, and really helpful. When we left, we gave Guisy a small bunch of flowers. I'd never done that before. Brilliant place, you cannot go wrong. Rob and Bev. Australia

Giusy and Gio made us feel at home, shared sightseeing tips, and served a breakfast we'll remember. Staying at Casa de Gio is a good reason on its own to visit Lecce, it was a great experience. The room and bathroom were spacious enough and perfectly clean. There's a shared sitting room, dining table, and refrigerator, and free private parking 20 meters from the house. The location is OK and not too far from the city centre, though that 1.5 km walk could be unpleasant in the heat or on a warm, humid evening.

The breakfast was the best we had in Italy, and Gio and Guisy were wonderful hosts. They gave us lots of tips and recommendations that helped us find beautiful places. The accommodation isn't in Lecce city centre, but it's definitely worth staying with them. Simply the best B&B. They also have two very cute turtles in the backyard.

The best part was breakfast, absolutely tasty, and a chance to learn about typical Salento style. Guisy and Gio took their time preparing a wonderful meal and explaining how to make it. They're generous, lovely hosts and patiently helped with all our questions. Give yourself time to enjoy being looked after by them. Choose the Gio surprise option and thank me later.
