Tullio and Sedita were such friendly hosts and always ready to answer questions. We enjoyed our stay, though a bit of work on the room, balcony and roof terrace would make things more comfortable. Our room was very clean and well looked after; the bed was a little too soft for me, but still comfortable. Breakfast was really good, although it got repetitive after a few days. You're right in the middle of Lecce's old town, just a couple of minutes on foot from the bars and restaurants. That also means street noise when the bars close in the early hours on weekends. The train station is about a 15-minute walk away, handy for day trips. The building's age and regulations limit what the owners can change, so there's no lift. The owner has put in a pulley lift for getting suitcases up to the second floor. With some work, this could be a truly fabulous place.

Breakfast on the terrace was our favorite part of the day, with lots of delicious homemade food and Sedita greeting us with the biggest smile. She's an absolute gem. Tullio was just as lovely, and I've never stayed anywhere with a more helpful owner. He knows so much about Puglia and was happy to share tips for places to visit and restaurants to try. Azzurretta was the highlight of our trip. We spent 5 days there exploring the area, and loved the hotel's charm and history, the huge comfortable rooms, and how incredibly clean everything was. The rooftop terrace was lovely for relaxing with a cocktail and enjoying the views, or for my early morning yoga in total peace. We'd spent 4 days in Monopoli first and ended up wishing we'd stayed all 9 days at Azzurretta and taken day trips from there. I'm sure we'll be back one day soon!

The building has loads of character, and the terrace offers great views. We found the rooms nice and clean, the host incredibly kind, and the breakfast remarkable. Right in the middle of the old district, too. A great place to stay, I'd recommend it.

Tullio really takes pride in both Lecce and his B&B. It's comfortable and convenient, with a tasty breakfast, right in the center of the city. Highly recommend!
