B&B Corte Dei Romiti - Suites & Apartments SIT

We booked at the last minute and were welcomed warmly and accommodated despite the short notice. The loft was spacious and clean, though the shower pressure and water flow were irregular, and the bathroom door didn’t close properly. It’s very central: we could park outside the ZTL and walk to the hotel while still being in the city centre.

The host was helpful and easy to communicate with, and the apartment is tastefully furnished in a top spot close to Piazza Duomo. Great value for the money and an excellent choice for staying in Lecce. Highly recommend!

The bigger suite is huge, with a very large bedroom, a spacious living and dining room, and an upstairs alcove with an extra single bed. It also has a small private courtyard, just big enough for a table and chairs. Daniella brought breakfast herself each morning at the agreed time: croissants, cakes, yoghurts, bread, coffee and jam or homemade marmalade. The apartments belong to Corte Romiti, which has two units. We stayed in the larger one for two nights in March, and I think the small extra cost is worth it. It’s at least two or three times the size of the smaller apartment. Ours was stylish and beautifully decorated, and Daniella was very friendly. The apartments are in Lecce’s historic centre, about 30m from the Duomo Plaza, but tucked into a pretty, characterful courtyard off the street, so it’s quiet despite being so central. It’s in the pedestrian area, the ZTL limited traffic zone, but if you arrive before 21pm, you can drive in and park right next to the property without restrictions.

Daniela made me feel very welcome. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and wonderfully quiet, and the location near the Duomo couldn't be more central. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone coming to Lecce.
