The corner room was VERY spacious, and I was glad there was an elevator. I also brought earplugs, which worked out well for me. If you're after a very central spot, can manage without more than basic amenities, and are an able-bodied, easygoing traveler focused mostly on location and price, this could suit you. I appreciated the candid reviews and responses below. Buyer beware.

The location was genuinely good, but that was the one bright spot in what was the worst stay I've had in five years. The old town center wasn't a quiet street as the description claimed, and the noise made it hard to fall asleep. The bed was awful, creaky and too warm, with what seemed like plastic sheets. The bathroom wasn't clean enough and the towels smelled bad. We booked at short notice, and several things we expected to be included weren't. The staff came across as arrogant and condescending, and didn't treat us politely or with respect. When the shower ran cold after my partner had been in for no more than ten minutes, I tried it and couldn't get warm water either. I told the owner right away. He replied, "impossible, maybe you don't know how to use a shower," which felt completely unacceptable and showed no care for us. After I reported it, he also told the booking agency that there had been repairs and broken glasses and a shower, none of which we had broken, and requested three times what we had paid. He also denied that I'd paid the city tax. He'd asked me to leave the money in the kitchen, then said I hadn't left it and demanded more. This felt insane. I would have given zero stars if not for the location. I absolutely don't recommend this place. Avoid it and save your money.

The price was €166 for a room with no breakfast, though this felt like a €40 motel room. In other B&Bs we stayed at around Puglia, the rooms were better, the prices lower, and breakfast was included. You can hear nighttime noise from outside and throughout the apartment, including the other rooms. The bathroom was noisy and not clean enough, and the decor and upkeep were really poor. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you have another option.

Right in Lecce's liveliest area, this place has a clean room and working facilities. The owner is helpful if you need anything.
