We stayed three nights in this lovely apartment in Lecce’s old city, close to everything. It was beautiful, well equipped, and had a great location. We’ve never stayed at a better B&B, and it sets the bar for the others we’ve visited. Google Maps on your phone is useful for finding your way around. Highly recommend!

Lecce is honestly my favourite place in the world, and this air bed and breakfast is amazing 🙌🏽. It’s an old chapel turned into a house, with a beautiful street outside and a stunning place to stay. It feels spacious and so much like home. I’d call the whole experience life-changing. If you’ve read this and still go somewhere else, you’ve made a big mistake, so think twice!

The historic and architectural character of Basseo33 is truly remarkable, and it’s also functional and thoughtfully designed. Its position is hard to beat, with a quiet setting close to the historic center. Everything went smoothly, and we really appreciated Laura’s attention to detail and friendly manner. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return soon.

The location is central but peaceful, close to Lecce’s main monuments, and the owners shared useful information with us. What made us feel at home right away was their kind, passionate, and helpful welcome. The suite has been beautifully renovated and is exceptionally clean and well cared for, with art throughout. Everything is high quality, from the antique and modern artwork to the linens, towels, and kitchenware, including typical hand-painted Apulian dishes. Breakfast was excellent, and we could have it at our own pace since the kitchen had everything we needed. A unique place to really experience the city. S. & P.
