John and Angela are terrific hosts, and the flat is fully fitted and in a fantastic spot. There’s even a garden, a rare thing in the Historic Centre, as well as a terrace guests can use. I lived in Lecce for over 15 years and have known John and Angela that whole time. I moved away about two years ago, but still visit family. I first stayed in the flat in November, and found it a peaceful, green haven in the Historic Centre, something I’d never experienced there before. I’ll stay here whenever I come back to Lecce. It’s one of the best places to stay in town.

John was a great host and made us feel welcome during our two-night stay in late September. Since we had a car, he met us just outside the city center and brought us to the apartment so we could leave our bags, then showed us to a secure car park where we left the car for a couple of days. The apartment is beautiful, with a lovely back garden and some tortoises. Each morning John made us a very generous breakfast, which set us up well for exploring Lecce. We’d highly recommend it.

The old town is easy to explore from here, and amenities and the long-term parking near Porto Napoli are within an easy walk. John even collected us from the railway station and was generous with tips and help. We were struck by the beauty of the residence, his breakfasts, and how welcoming he was. A wonderful place to stay, highly recommended.

We were so glad to find this little jewel box in Lecce's old Jewish district. The hosts were lovely and very helpful, and we adored the dogs and cats too. 🙂🙂

John, Angela, Margaret, and Francesca made us feel like family, in the best way, and took care of everything we needed. Casa D'Artista is a lovely apartment in a perfect spot. We had a great stay this summer and hope to visit again soon.
